Summary | 0003898: Tables created with VARCHAR instead of DATE (SQL-Server as source)
Description | When using SQL-Server as the source database, table definitions are sent to the target with columns of type DATE being sent as VARCHAR instead. Using SQuirreL client also shows the data type number indicating VARCHAR, so this could be a driver issue (jTDS?), but we should attempt to override to DATE when the type name indicates DATE.
