| Description | From the central node, we want to be able to see the number of rows that still need to be synced from clients. The heartbeat is sent by clients to the central node every 15 minutes, and the last heartbeat time is stored on the sym_node table. This change would cause the heartbeat to also send the count of un-synced rows. If we make an extension point for heartbeat data, we can put this feature in 1.7 without requiring any schema changes to the database that would be incompatible with 1.7.X. Create a new extension point that is notified on the heartbeat, then move the default implementation of the heartbeat to the extension point. |
