Summary | 0004997: Setup database should set socket read timeout higher than SQL query timeout
Description | A socket read timeout appears to abandon the connection as a defense against bad networking, but it can leave the query running on the backend database. The query timeout will cancel the running query and maintain the connection, which is better behavior. The socket read timeout needs to be higher than the query timeout to prevent abandoning of connections.
