| Description | It would be nice if SymmetricDS logs when a transformation is not applied and a reason for not applying it. It's very frustrating to debug especially if the config is 100% correct and SymmetriDS gives no reason for why it did not apply the transformations from the sym_transform_column. | ||||

This is a feature that is available in the Pro version of SymmetricDS. |

Unacceptable. The ability to debug a core feature of SymmetricDS is NOT a pro-level feature and should not be put behind a paywall. Surely putting a couple of lines of debug logging in the code should take a couple of minutes at most. |

It would be possible to check the transforms at startup and log if any transforms will not apply to any tables. The logic for this is complex, so it will take some time to implement.
